William W. Brame AIA LEED AP, NCARB - Principal
William W. “Billy” Brame joined the Firm in 1973, and has over 37 years of experience on a wide variety of projects. On projects from simple to complex, small to large, routine to unique, his background covers the full spectrum. Design responsibility has included virtually every project type, including educational, institutional, transportation, commercial, offices, residential, and healthcare. Mr. Brame is experienced and knowledgeable in working with local governing bodies, including extensive involvement in various rezoning and land use projects. Civic involvement as a volunteer includes work on numerous governmental boards, task force efforts and committees.

Donald L. Heck AIA LEED AP, NCARB
Mr. Heck has more than over 22 years in the practice of architecture and has a background in Historic Preservation. His focus while obtaining a Master of Architecture degree at the University of Florida was towards the historical aspect of Architecture. He has extensive experience with educational and health care facilities. In addition, he has experience with religious, commercial, and office/administration facilities. Specific areas of Mr. Heck’s expertise include project management during design and construction, construction technology, specification writing, cost estimating and contract administration on project sites.

Gerald B. Victorian AIA LEED AP
Gerald brings his creative and intelligent design methodologies, project management and field experience to Brame Architecture. He received both a Bachelor of Design in 1995 and a Masters of Architecture in 1998 from the University of Florida and has over 18 years of experience. Gerald’s critical analysis of space planning and program development has produced many successful health care, research, educational, religious and commercial projects.

Michael D. Russell - Senior CAD Specialist LEED AP
Mr. Russell graduated from Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College with an Associate of Applied Science in Mechanical Drafting and Design Technology, degree in August of 1989. Mike has been with Brame Architects as our lead CAD specialist for over 13 years. He was one of 100 finalists in an international design competition for design of a Treehouse for a Tropical Island Resort.
